All Star Guard Suffered Setback In Game 2 Loss To Celtics

Pacers' Haliburton Out for Game 3 With Hamstring Injury

All-Star Guard Suffered Setback in Game 2 Loss to Celtics

Haliburton's Absence Deals Major Blow to Indiana's Playoff Hopes

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton will miss Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday due to a hamstring injury, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Haliburton suffered the injury late in Indiana's Game 2 loss to the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

Haliburton, a two-time All-Star, had a big night in Game 1, scoring 25 points, dishing out 10 assists, and recording three steals. However, his night ended prematurely in Game 2 when he slipped and injured his left hamstring.

The injury is a major blow to the Pacers' playoff hopes. Haliburton is one of Indiana's most important players and his absence will be felt on both ends of the floor. The Pacers will now have to find a way to replace Haliburton's production in Game 3 and beyond.

Haliburton's injury is also concerning because it is the same left hamstring that he injured back in January. Haliburton missed several games with that injury and will now be forced to miss even more time.
