Cincinnati Star Sidelined
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will miss the remainder of the season after tearing a ligament in his right wrist during Thursday nights 34-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
The injury occurred in the third quarter when Burrow was sacked by Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. Burrow immediately grabbed his wrist and was taken to the locker room. He did not return to the game.
An MRI exam on Friday confirmed the torn ligament. Burrow is expected to undergo surgery next week.
The Bengals are now 5-5 on the season. They are scheduled to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
